Matt Ruckman is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and licensed clinical addiction counselor (LCAC) in the state of Indiana. He is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Matt received his B.S. in Management from Purdue University in 2004 and his M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2018. He has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families to help them navigate the challenges of addiction, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, and relational difficulty. Matt utilizes elements of cognitive-behavioral, reality, and existential therapy to help clients reach their goals. He is also trained in EMDR, an evidence-based treatment that helps individuals safely process and heal from traumatic or distressing life experiences. Matt previously served as the Coordinator of Bereavement and Community Support Groups for Hendricks Regional Health and as a Behavioral Health Therapist III for Community Fairbanks Recovery Lodge (La Verna). He now facilitates an evening intensive outpatient program for individuals in early recovery at Community Fairbanks Recovery Center in addition to operating Ruckman Recovery.
